CONSTRUCTION STYLE AND TYPE
Modular rack and pinion rotary pneumatic actuator with hard anodized aluminum body or epoxy coated carbon steel housing. Opposed pistons with precision machined racks engage a high strength alloy steel pinion for synchronized torque transmission and reduced backlash.

DESIGN AND INTERNAL MECHANISM
Balanced opposed piston design delivers uniform torque output. Low friction guide bearings maintain alignment during high cycle operation. Blowout resistant pinion shaft with anti static continuity supports hazardous area use. Spring return models use coated alloy steel spring cartridges for fail safe open or fail safe close action. Double acting models provide bidirectional pneumatic drive.
