The construction features a heavy-walled body with a top-cover or side-cover arrangement, precision-perforated or mesh-lined basket element, reinforced handle, guided seating ring and full-volume straining chamber to maximise dirt-holding capacity. The design allows easy removal of the basket for cleaning without disturbing pipeline alignment.

Flowcen T Type Tee Strainer is manufactured with rigid body geometry, reinforced branch neck and precision-machined cover seating to maintain sealing integrity under cyclic pressure and temperature conditions. The T configuration enables side-entry screen removal, allowing cleaning without dismantling upstream or downstream piping.

Construction options include cast or fabricated bodies in Cast Iron, Ductile Iron, Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Alloy Steel based on size, pressure rating and service severity. Internal screen elements are supplied in SS304, SS316 or duplex grades, available in perforated plate or wedge wire construction with reinforced support rings designed for high differential pressure resistance.

Sealing systems are selected as per duty and rating, including spiral wound graphite gaskets, metallic gaskets or elastomer seals. Cover designs include bolted cover, davit-assisted cover or quick-opening arrangements for large diameter units. Drain and vent connections are provided for blowdown, flushing and commissioning.

Designed for horizontal or vertical installation, Flowcen T Type Tee Strainers are suitable for continuous service in water transmission mains, cooling water circuits, process utilities and large bore industrial pipelines.
