CONSTRUCTION
The damper uses a fabricated steel frame with a guided sliding plate engineered for smooth travel and reliable shutoff. Plates are manufactured in carbon steel, stainless steel or alloy grades depending on temperature, abrasion and corrosive exposure. The gate slides on hardened guide rails with low-friction support systems for stable movement. Sealing arrangements include metal-to-metal contact, stainless edge seals or high-temperature packing sets depending on leakage class. Drive options include manual lever, geared operators or motorized actuators for process automation.

Fabricated Slide Gate Valves are precision-welded isolation gates designed for handling dry bulk media, slurry channels, ash pits, mining discharge, and sedimentation systems where full-bore shutoff and unobstructed flow are critical. Construction uses reinforced fabricated body with guide channels, replaceable slide plate, and abrasion-resistant sealing edges for extended service life.

Design configuration includes heavy fabricated carbon steel or stainless steel housing, machined guide rails, hard-faced slide plate, and renewable seat liners. Sealing system options include metal-to-metal edge sealing, elastomer edge strips, UHMWPE wear liners, or PTFE slide pads depending on media characteristics. Gate plate travel is linear, ensuring low turbulence and minimal clogging in solids handling duties.

Operation choices cover handwheel screw type, bevel gear box, chain wheel, electric actuator, pneumatic cylinder, or hydraulic ram drive for remote or automated installations.
